What is the Swipebird MCP server?
A hosted Model Context Protocol server at https://api.swipebird.app/mcp. It lets Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, Cursor, Claude Code and any other MCP app search and read the posts, links, screenshots and notes in your Swipebird, and save new links for you.
Which AI apps work with it?
Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, Claude Code, ChatGPT with a developer mode connector, Grok Bot, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and any app that supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP. They all get the same tools.
Can the AI see anyone else's saves?
No. Every request is tied to the account you signed in with, and every lookup is limited to that account. A connection can only read and change your own saves.
Can it delete or change my saves?
It can save links and add notes or labels when you ask. Deleting a save needs an explicit confirm step, so the AI has to check with you first. Nothing is ever posted anywhere.
Do I need a password or an API key?
No. Your app opens a Swipebird page, we email you a 6-digit code, and that is it. API keys are only for apps that cannot sign in that way.
How do I disconnect?
Remove the Swipebird connector in your AI app. For API keys, revoke them in the section above. Deleting your Swipebird account also removes every connection.
