Privacy policy

Last updated 25 October 2026

The short version
  1. We store your email and the things you save, plus anonymous visit counts on our website.
  2. We never sell your data, show ads, or send your saves to an AI model.
  3. Your saves reach an AI assistant only when you connect one, and you can cut that off at any time.
  4. Email [email protected] and we delete your account and every save.

Who we are

Swipebird (swipebird.app, the iPhone app, the Chrome extension and the MCP connector) is run by Ertiqah LLC. For anything in this policy, contact [email protected].

What we store

We do not store your LinkedIn, X or Instagram passwords, cookies or messages. We never ask for them.

How the Chrome extension works

The extension reads a page only when you save it or when you start an import on your own saved posts, bookmarks or saved page. During an import it scrolls the page in your browser and sends us what the page shows you. It does not call LinkedIn, X or Instagram behind your back and does not act on your account.

Where your data lives

Your account and saves are stored in our database on servers in Helsinki, Finland. Sign-in codes are emailed through Meisa, our own email service, which sends through Amazon Web Services (SES).

Who else sees anything

We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your saves until you delete them or your account. You can delete any single save in the iPhone app, or ask your connected AI to delete it. To delete your whole account, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with; we remove your account, every save, every stored image, your import progress and every AI connection within 7 days. To stop an AI assistant reading your saves, remove the connector in that app or revoke its key on the connector page.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by emailing us. If you live in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Swipebird is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly keep their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and tell signed-in users by email before the change applies.
